ok... i don't mean to be disrespectful towards the dead OR in their preferred choice of funeral rituals but ... .... .....
IS CHANTING OVER A MICROPHONE FOR HOURS UPON HOURS ANY DIFFERENT FROM CHANTING .... WITHOUT the DAMN SPEAKERS??!!?? ...
i mean.. do spirits respond better if your chants are LOUDER? ...
does sincerity not make up for all that? .. does the HEART not count? ...
should a monk chanting with all his heart be any less heard by the dead than a heartless monk chanting through SPEAKERS ??? .....
someone PLEASE explain to me the need for microphones and speakers at funerals.. because logic in all THIS NOISE really... really ..escapes me.
