online shopping is tiring...
those who think online shopping is relaxing and less stressful than real life street shopping haven't been shopping online enough to qualify as online shoppers.

it's weird experiencing and realizing the evolution of conversational topics as we grow and age.

Primary School
we talk abt who's got the best zero-point rubber bands around, who had better, newer, nicer coloring pencils.
we laugh abt panty jokes and go to sch with next to nothing for recess money yet never complained abt our sorry financial states.

Secondary School
we start discussing the latest songs, what's IN, who's a bitch, a prostitute, a whore.
we watch boys try to grab and squeeze ( for GOD knows WHY!!?!?!) each other's balls out.
we start dating and talked abt "going steady".
we experimented with profanity and laughed at the D.M.

Junior College
we began partying, drinking and dancing.
we talked about uni life like it was all fun, and wondered what it would be like to study overseas.
we played and skipped lessons whenever we could.
we ran the track and were skinny... at least some of us ran while others just became bulimic.
we were happy because we were young and the future still seemed distant.
we played... and played... and played.

University
we grew up.
we talk about jobs, part time or full time, in different industries and their prospects.
we discuss the market and it's questionable wage rates.
we laugh at our A level results and compared for the lowest grades.
Marriage and adulthood together with all its responsibilities became a lunch topic.

i was eager to turn 18.
when i finally did, i wished time would stop or at least slow down.

is it just me...? or has time been speeding up in recent years?

he's not gonna make the 60- day deadline.
placate me or i'll bite your head off.
